Often, time seemed to pass at breakneck speed. She had to consciously take opportunities to slow down and breathe. She trusted Miltank out here to alert her if there was any Rocket activity, so she closed her eyes and focused only on herself.

[attr="class","rosepost"]She focused on her breathing. The small footfalls of the Litleo as it came up to Miltank were impossible to ignore, but thankfully, the two pokemon interacted kindly. If the Litleo were bigger, perhaps it would have attacked Miltank. As it was, they were seeming to be unlikely friends. Keiko removed her attention from the two of them and instead re-centered it on herself. She needed this mindfulness.

[attr="class","rosepost"]Kecleon was not as amenable. It charged Miltank with fury swipes but the bovine pokemon tanked the hits without flinching. She was an immovable object, really. Miltank used seismic toss to launch Kecleon into the air. Then, she threw it to the ground. The earth shook slightly from the force. Miltank backed up to reveal the fainted Kecleon, but Keiko didn't open her eyes to confirm the job. She trusted Miltank to handle herself.

the litwick appeared from nowhere, fading into visible existence before the miltank. it used astonish, but it had no effect on milly. miltank charged forward with a body slam, which caused her to go right through the litwick. keiko took a final deep breath, then decided she had had enough mindfulness for one day.

miltank shook her head to clear the jumbled thoughts, having charged through litwick and right into the side of the hill. she course-corrected and tried again, going through the confused litwick. keiko took mercy on both pokemon and tossed a pokeball at the unaware litwick.[break][break] (catching)
